What does “Right Click” Mean?

What do you mean by “Right Click” (Rt. Click) (Secondary Click)

Hovering over something anywhere on your computer screen and clicking the right mouse button on your mouse will give you a list of options about that thing. You will then use a regular “Click” (left mouse button) to choose something from that options list.

This is an extremely useful and universal function.

Note: The term Right Click is used even when you are not using a traditional mouse with left and right buttons. It is also called Secondary click.

Regular 2 button mouse: Click the button on the Right.

MAC Mouse: Click the upper right corner of the mouse.

Laptop without a mouse: Use 2 fingers on the trackpad to click on a thing.

Note: The Rt. Click menu items change all the time based on where on your screen you are clicking. So do some exploring. If you don’t see an option you want look for the little triangles that indicate you can click to get more options.

This was very helpful!! I should maybe be embarrassed about this but I don’t think I knew that my right click for my Mac was a 2-finger click!! Also, after hearing it many times, I think I will remember that left click is the action and right click are the options!!
