So Many Choices! How do I Decide?
Let’s say you are looking to setup your email marketing but don’t like Mailchimp. Or you think Infusion Soft would be a great system to manage your business, but you are not ready to take on that kind of expense commitment?
What are your options? and how do you choose?
This has been a frustration I have had for years as I continue look for the best options out there for helping business owners get on with their business.
Naturally I am always excited to talk with other business owners about their systems and I have seen the various ads for cool stuff and recommendations in the blogs I read. There are also plenty of “top 10” lists out there for practically everything. But the best thing I have found so far is a website called:
With so much information out there, it is absolutely necessary to limit your research or you may fall into the deep dark hole of information overload, which can lead to indecision, or worse, continuous system switching. Get App is a one-stop location to compare business applications and get reviews and recommendations. I cannot promise that Get App is the absolute best out there, but it has been very helpful to me when I need to make a decision about the next system in which to invest, or recommend to my clients.
Here are a few systems that many of my clients have needed over the years and it may be time for you to think about them as well (If you haven’t already). Take a look at what Get App thinks and see what catches your eye.
Do you have a good online backup system?
I like Carbonite, but it is not the only good one out there. Let’s see what Get App compares it to.

I haven’t looked at Capterra, but someone mentioned it to me recently. I will take a look at it. Lately, app seems to apply to anything, program, cloud software or even a website that “does something”. I’m not sure how Merriam-Websters would feel about it.
Looks like a great tool! Thanks for sharing this.
I have used Capterra.com in the past, but it is not as user-friendly as getapp.com. I used to think an “app” was just for mobile devices (tablets and phones). Does this word apply to any cloud based software for any platform?
