Where is the Beginning? – Home Page
When something is consistent and predictable we trust it, rely on it, even if it is not the most efficient or effective thing.
Do you like your internet “HOME” page?
I am not talking about your own personal web site, but rather, the page that opens up when you open your favorite internet browser.
It’s a small thing, something that we don’t think about too much, maybe from time to time when we open our browser and wish it opened straight to our email login page. Or our favorite news page, or Facebook, or NOT Facebook.
How about when everything is fine and you like what your browser opens to and then, all of a sudden, it changes! How irritating.
No worries, this simple thing has a simple fix.
Your browser; IE, Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, all have the capability of setting a default starting page of YOUR choice. It may not be much, but you can save a few minutes by having your internet start where you want it to.
I like to start mine at Lastpass.com, where all my login sites are listed and my passwords are safely programmed in and all set up so I can just login.
How about you? Where would you like to begin?
